- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Mint Oreos
- Crushed candy canes
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9″x9″ square metal baking pan with parchment paper. Melt better and allow to cool.
Whisk together butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in eggs, stirring into completely mixed.
Add baking soda, salt, flour, and cocoa powder to wet ingredients. Stir until combined. Fold in white chocolate chips. Batter will be pretty thick.
Spread half the batter into prepared pan. Top with broken mint Oreo pieces. Cover with remaining batter. Add more broken mint Oreo pieces and crushed candy canes on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 28-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out almost clean, with a little bit of “moist crumbs” attached (not raw batter). You don’t want to over bake them – they’ll cook a little longer in the pan! Cool completely before cutting. Enjoy!
